Chicken Sandwich

Chicken Sandwich (Serves 4)


2 large Raw chicken breasts

1 cup Afric Sauce.

4 buns

1 cup buttermilk

2 cups flour

2 cups canola oil

1 medium tomato(sliced)

1 medium onion (sliced)

Green lettuce

1 tsp sea salt

8 pickles

Bouillon powder seasoning.



Step 1: Rinse, slice chicken breast in half and trim.

Step 2: Mix ½ cup Afric Sauce with buttermilk

Step 3: Marinate chicken breast in the mixture of buttermilk and Afric Sauce for 1hour.

Step 4:  Season flour with salt and bouillon powder.

Step 5: Preheat oil in a frying pan up to 325 degrees

Step 6: Deep marinated chicken breast into seasoned flour-well covered.

Step 7: Fry floured chicken in preheated oil until tender and golden brown.

Step 8: Marinate fried chicken in ½ cup Afric Sauce for 10-15 mins.

Step 9: Lightly toast buns and fill with fried marinated chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. 

Step 10: Serve with French fries and Afric Sauce as a dipping sauce.
